Finding Campgrounds - Updated

OK fellow RVers —- am i the only one who has not been using Mapquest to find campgrounds?

Duh !  Have i no shame?   I use Mapquest for trip routing all the time, but i have never used it to find all the CGs in an area.  So another cool tool that i had to add to the Finding Campground section.  Better late than never - eh?

BTW — i’m not sure i ever blogged about this - but i did add a couple other links to that section recently.  Did you know Missouri State Parks post pics of every campsite?  GET OUT!!!  and Mountaindale CG in Colorado Springs has pics of every site.

All these great new tips - courtesy of folks from RV.NET campground forum

I have never used mapquest to find a campground but I sure am going to try it. I have used my Microsoft Streets and Trips Software. It has campgrounds listed in "find nearby places". It works pretty well when mapping a trip.
