Headed Home

Our time @ Topsail was tooooo short — geez 2 nights  of this beautiful place is not enough.   Yes siree  too short.  Here we are @ site 123… a nice spot — we actually like this better than site 138 (our previous favorite).  But it won’t be long til we are back.  We return for 6 nights over Thanksgiving and will be on the site below.  It seems to get a bit too much sun in the a.m. - but maybe in November we’ll be glad.  Having a campfire would be nice… course we have to bring our own firepit to do that… and we plan to.  Hopefully the firebans are lifted by then. 

We headed out this a.m. and are now back @ Oaks n Pines CG in Lake City, FL.   We should be home tomorrow afternoon sometime and we’ll put our Bus to bed for a while. Tom has that long business trip to NC in October and i just have nothing else planned til Thanksgiving. We will need to install our new window shades — maybe we’ll take a weekend trip somewhere to do that… but otherwise the trips will be skimpy for awhile. sigh But you know i am eager to get home and make sure everything is OK — especially the pool.  Our neighbors took care of it while we were gone - but they left for their own vacation 2 days ago.   I have visions of tiny frogs lounging around the pool — he he — you may remember i was dealing with a minor invasion before we left.  They probably had a couple orgies since Wednesday.  How quickly do you think these little guys multiply? Probably daily.

Gosh, Topsail looks like paradise. would love to visit there some day. I hear about it alot on rv.net. It's a little too far for us for now.

I like the new tile in the coach. Guess you don't have to worry about cold feet down in the south.
I'm trying to talk Lowell into going to Topsail CG around the end of November, but she won't commit.

Yes -- we all need to meet @ Topsail someday. What fun that would be. I know it is far away Pat -- sorta like Willow Tree is to us now. I sure miss that place.

Now Roy -- you guys are free spirits - right? Surely you'll get somewhere warm before winter. Maybe your headed out west though -- can't blame you. Color us envious.
