Tada
Monday, July 7, 2008 I’m done. For now. I still want to make drapes but first I must find some fabric that works with everything else. So there you go another project for another day which will have to sit with all the other projects as now it’s time to clean house. Apparently it’s feeling neglected.
Here are a couple pics of the storage changes my sister Nan and I tackled during her visit. To make room for the red chest I had to disassemble the black shelving unit so it sits stacked on the closet floor. And the other side are the canvas shoe trees to hold my stash. That Nan — she’s a good folder.
Finally I have a chair in here. I’ve wanted this for a long time and I had no idea it would fit - but it does.
Who cares about an ironing board - I want a seat! I’ll just get out the dang board when I need it.

looks great! The chair is perfect! I'm with you on the ironing board. If you put it up out from the wall to the right of your chair you may be able to roll right over to it press and then back to sewing :) Good job sis! I am proud of you. Love the painted closet :)
Tks Nan. Yea - Good idea. Also thought I'd try setting that new tabletop on the table next to me. Most of the time I'm just pressing small pieces.
It looks wonderful, so warm and inviting! I'd need a room at least 20x20 to be so neat and organized with all my junk. I love yours!
I ran across a website today and she has some free goodies you can download that I thought you might like for your Lucy Banners:

Tks for the kind words CJ. Now you realize mine won't stay neat too much longer. Though I try to keep it picked up some projects seem to just take over and then I just close the door. he he . Tks for the link - I'll take a look.
Having a door to close on it is a wonderful thing! LOL. I've unfortunately had to spread out of my room onto the landing as well, and there's no closing that door! At least it's upstairs.
The room looks really nice, very nice. You inspire me to get with the program. Makes we want to leave work and go home and do something worth while. The color and layout of the room is perfect and organized on top of it. What more could you ask for. I know! I want that red chest and the black one in the cabana bath. Send them to me I'll be waiting.
Love you.
Yep CJ - I hear ya -- Sewing and Doors are like bread and butter to me. But easier said than done.
Tks Rick. It is hard to get started - I know that feeling but I'm glad it is done. Now please don't hold your breath waiting for that shipment ok?
