On A Roll

Figgy Pudding all pieced.  Just waiting on some extra backing fabric to finish.

The Bus quilt.  I decided to just stick with the fabrics I have.  I’ll figure out where it will be used once it is done.  I’ve actually made progress on this one.  Seriously.

All 9” strips are sewn. 160 of them.  60 more than the pattern requires because I had plans to make it bigger.

What a disturbed person I am.

Next step, cut all those strips to make a bunch of 4 patches.  320 total.  Told you I was disturbed.  But I have a plan. Wonkiness will occur you can count on that.  Wonky beyond repair - well those will go in the garbage.   Lots of wonky = smaller size.  Hopefully good enough to assemble into one quilt vs. a bunch of hot pads.

Next xmas project. I plan to get this cut out this weekend.  Sure would like to get a few more xmas projects done before December.  This year.

Love the Figgy Pudding project! I think I've got that pattern tucked away on one of my bookshelves - inspires me to pull it out!

You'll laugh at this one: Your title "On A Roll"....I thought you meant YOU are on a roll....LOL

But - YOU are on a roll - you're getting so much done. The fudgy pudding border really looks nice. Now you have encouraged me to get my little Fudgy Pudding project out that I have for the Christmas holiday to do. Sheesh - what I need - another project to add to the list...LOL...This is YOUR fault. And here, I had forgotten about it.

You have a very special knack for putting wonderful colors together.

Are you and hubby home for awhile now or are you already planning another getaway?

I thought State Fair was very easy to do -- hope it's the same for you Megan.

Cindy/CJ -- Tks for all the kind comments -- you gals are making me blush. I'm still so infatuated with that Figgy Pudding fabric. I bought a bunch more of it on Saturday.

Cindy -- Yep we have 3 more RV trips before year end. The plan is to get those valances done before Thanksgiving. We'll see.

I am so in LOVE with the Figgy Pudding fabrics myself! I have a kit using them and I just might have to buy some more for other things too!!! It is just so retro and fun!
