Time For Some Decorations

We are spending Xmas @ the fabulous Topsail Hill State Park in Santa Rosa Beach, FL this year.  After 3 years @ Ortona South we were ready for a change.  Last week it was freezing up here so I was a bit worried, but this week it’s going to be perfect.  grin  Temps will range between 57-67 during the day and the low 40s at night.  Lucky us.

Tomorrow I’m going to decorate the inside — still trying to decide if I’ll put up the little tree.  Stay tune for pictures.  Other plans — daily walks to the beach and some shopping.  #1 stop - the antique store.  There’s a great one up the road that I’ve been dying to get back too.  I’ll probably spend a couple hours there.  At least.  :-)

Other things …

I’ve sent emails to a couple of you who expressed interest in the sign artis. For anyone else who happens upon this blog post - contact Julie Rose @ doodlebugsart1@aol.com to get your own personal sign made.  She’ll give you directions on what she needs to proceed.

Re: sign stand.  In the picture above I’ve used two flower pot hangers facing each other, but this is a temporary setup.  Works great for adding Xmas lights, but my long term plan is to get a single stand like this from Metalcraft Sign.  This company is located in Ocala, FL.   The sign is 24 X 15 and their large stock stand is just a tad too small and the holes on the vertical bar are in the wrong spot.  I talked to the gal and they can make a custom stand which does not cost that much more.  The stock stands are approx $25-29 and just $10-15 more for a custom one.  (these are estimates — call them to confirm).  I scoured the internet and was thrilled when I found this company — to me it will be  perfect.  Easy to carry and setup.  I’ll share the final size & pictures etc. once I get it - sometime in January.

*Update… Since I wrote this post I have created a page to explain more about the sign and the stand and have links to Julie’s website.  Click on  Personalized RV Sign to learn more.
